San Juan de los Terreros
San Juan de los Terreros is the easternmost village of Andalucía, hugging the border with Murcia community and well known for its magnificent beaches.
The village has supermarkets, chemist, restaurants, tapas bars, coffee shops, ice-cream parlours, and a medical centre. It also has a nightclub during the summer months and a garden center and an open market takes place each Sunday morning
Along the coastline you will find lots of small coves, with traditional fishermen's cottages and there is also two small volcanic islets to explore.
The most characteristic monument in the town is San Juan de los Terreros Castle, built in 1764 on a promontory that overlooks a lot of the coastline of Almería and Murcia
