Palomares
Palomares is an traditional Andalucian agriculture and fishing village situated next to Vera Playa and is popular for its location, prices and tranquility.
Situated just a few minutes drive from 3 excellent golf courses makes this a popular destination for golfers and being on the beach means those looking to soak up the sun are also catered for. Palomares is situated just a few minutes drive from Villaricos, where the famous Dreambeach festival takes place every summer.
The village is also noted for a famous air crash in 1966 involving a United States B-52 colliding with a KC-135 Stratotanker.
